Even my oldest son thinks I should be more on the ball with it, but to me, our lives are full of the simple, lovely things that make a normal family. Whatever normal is, but truly, I love our life here in Maryland, and there is nothing extra-special about it that I feel needs to be broadcast all over the internet!
However, because I love all my readers SO much, I will, momentarily, become a family-news-broadcast-blogger.
When I say I love our life, I really, really mean it. I am so thankful for everything God has blessed us with - in every way - not that we have an idyllic or perfect life - but I can enjoy the blessings along with the tough times because I know how blessed I am. I am thankful. And grateful.
So, here's what we've been doing the past few months:
Going for walks on spring days
Celebrating birthdays - a special double-digit birthday!
Taking birthday trips to our nations' capital and The Smithsonian
Easter ...
And another big double-digit birthday. As my girlfriend pointed out, Patrick is now playing with a full deck! It's about time!
Soon to come, we are hitting the teens around here ... should we be afraid? I hope not ... ;-)
